Sustainability

Sixense Northern America is committed to initiatives that keep our planet healthy, including our parent company’s goal to reduce CO2 emissions by 40% by 2030. Through careful tracking of 3 key scopes (Scopes 1, 2, and 3) we can successfully track exactly how much CO2 pollution we produce each year. Scopes 1 & 2 track our natural gas, fuel, and electricity consumption, while Scope 3 details travel, digital, and purchasing impacts. Through these initiatives, we can make practical and significant strides in decreasing our overall CO2 emissions.

In addition, Sixense implemented a program dedicated to environmental issues called “Sixense Green Program.” This aims to raise awareness and train our employees on good practices and behaviors to help preserve the environment. We also strive to integrate climate change projections into our planning and use lean construction principles to minimize waste.
