What We Do

Sixense North America specializes in 5 core service areas:

1. Geotechnical monitoring: Real-time measurement of soil movement, settlement, and groundwater levels using inclinometers, piezometers, automated motorized total stations (AMTS) and satellite imagery (INSAR). Sixense North America installs and operates sensor networks on tunnels, excavations, embankments, mines, and dams.
2. Structural health monitoring (SHM): Long-term assessment of bridges, buildings, and critical structures through strain gauges, tilt sensors, acoustic systems, and displacement monitoring systems. Sixense North America identifies structural changes before they become safety concerns.
3. Environmental monitoring: Noise, vibration, and air quality measurement on construction sites and industrial operations. At Sixense North America, the team provides propagation models, real-time data acquisition, automated alerts, and regulatory compliance documentation.
